Just like 90% of folks living in Silicon Valley, I also work in high tech.
Worked the first 12 years at the same tech company following college, I took time off and bought a bakery. Crazy huh… not really considering it was still the cheaper option to attending B-school. :) Went through the next job and delivered a baby then went through hell (haha) and then quit and became full time mom for 6 years, during which delivered another baby angel. Now back at the workplace…
COVID was not kind… Now a single mom and brain washed by an ex that was very environmental and health conscious who probably wished he were living in cave men/women period. Any free time we had, I research on how things were made FROM SCRATCH. After babies were here, my only objective became how to make sure they eat (haha). Now that my kids are a bit more hands-free, I am hoping to get back to making similar healthy food for my kids.
Hopefully these wonderful dishes and the natural tastes can continue to be made from scratch in the many kitchens around us.
